One night Dunnes had no eggs 😮
To be exact, it was getting late, Dunnes was open until 10pm, clearly the shop floor had a busy day of trade and it being last orders I was also in a rush.
Usually I pick up the Dunnes Organic range eggs, a fine reliable and tasty egg. It is Dunnes own in-house organic range but it was completely out of stock, so my go-to eggs were gone!
Thankfully there was no real shortage of eggs as Dunnes always holds a well stocked supply of eggs of all sizes, quantities and price points.
Typically egg stock levels rise and fall with demand but you will always find eggs in a Dunnes stores.
On this night the stock levels were patchy but that was a blessing in disguise as they say, because to my surprise there were indeed organic eggs in stock, a long pile stood out on a semi bare bottom shelf.
The Late Night Winner 🏆

Truth is this shopper was the real winner this night, with a basket full of the basics, the prize of organic eggs was secured despite the initial wobble. Dunnes came through as always, by stocking eggs from a a wide variety of sources on hand to fit anyones need and budget including this late-night straggler.
